On Saturday 8th June, the employees, family and friends of the President Engineering Group (PEGL), Bestobell and Conflow descended on Haydock Park for a day at the horse racing. The day started well with some good wins for Marie Cooper, Kelsey Alderton and Phil Steel. The afternoon was full of surprises when Gary Hammonds declared his passion for women’s shoes, trying on various styles and sizes worn by the PEGL ladies, before settling on a favourite pair! The day ended with a stop off at a service station to purchase an 80’s CD so everyone could have a good old sing song on the journey home. Lots of positive feedback was received from the employees that attended and plans are now underway for a similar event.
